2011 Lunch in the Park - Entertainment

Friday, August 26, 2011 (11AM - 2PM)

Entertainment - "Small Potatoes"

The Chicago based folk duo of Jacquie Manning and Rich Prezioso say it has taken them years of careful indecision to develop a repertoire they describe as "Celtic to Cowboy."  Superb musicianship and showmanship, award-winning songwriting, and a strong sense of tradition has made them, as Dirty Linen Magazine said, "one of the most polished, inventive, and entertaining shows on the circuit."

Friday, July 29, 2011

Entertainment - "Guyz With Bad Eyez"

The talented duo of Merv Collins and Don Humbertson play a lot of folk, country, and "good pickin" songs.  Merv is a well-known Fingerstyle Acoustic Guitarist and Don is a 12-string picker and singer extraordinaire.  Together, they're sure to entertain the crowd with their music and charm.

Entertainment - "Cassandra and the Gravel Road Band"

Cassandra and the Gravel Road Band delivers contemporary rock and roll with an earthy vibe.  Lead singer and songwriter Cassandra Vohs-Demann's musical style builds on the traditions of Stevie Nicks, Melissa Etheridge, and Lucinda Williams, but is uniquely her own.  Her original songs reflect on love, loss, self-reflection, and dreams.  Her soaring vocals connect to the audience straight from the heart and her dynamic personality warms up the room.  Cassandra will be joined by band members Graham Butler on drums and George Muligano on guitar.
