National Night Out - Downtown Block Party

WHO? - The Crystal Lake Police Department and Downtown Crystal Lake / Main Street are co-hosting this National Night Out - Downtown Block Party event. Everyone is welcome! FREE Admission.
WHAT? - This will be an evening of music, fun, food, and entertainment! Planned activities include: Karaoke on the Raue Center Stage, Baggo Tournament, Free Facepainting, Police and Fire/Rescue Vehicles on display, Police Canine demonstrations, kids games, live music ("The Stingrays" -- playing 50's, 60's and 70's Rock & Roll), and plenty of food. Onsite food vendors include: Galloway's Subs, Georgio's Pizzeria, Knights of Columbus and Pop's Corn Crib.
WHY? - National Night Out is a nationwide event providing an opportunity for the community and local law enforcement to come together to promote neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships in our fight for a safer nation.
WHEN? - Saturday, August 6, 2011 (5PM - 9PM)
WHERE? - Williams Street (between Crystal Lake Avenue and Brink Street)
